Renee Edwards, the founder of the Saturday Shoppes, has expanded the event from St. Petersburg to Hillsborough County. The expansion features a new store called The Everyday Shoppes, located in Brandon Mall. This store showcases 44+ minority- and women-owned businesses, all of which were previously vendors at Saturday Shoppes. These entrepreneurs have also participated in a 12-month retail class.

The initiative aims to improve economic impact and provide underrepresented business owners with opportunities to thrive. Funding for the project came from a grant provided by the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg and Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, emphasizing economic wellbeing and good health.
